School of Medicine and Public Health

The School of Medicine and Public Health no longer offers undergraduate majors. The last graduating class in clinical laboratory science (CLS) was May 2012. The physician assistant program is now a graduate-level program. For more information, see Physician Assistant Program.

The school does offer courses in physiology, anatomy, and several other subjects at the undergraduate level.

Students interested in preparing for the health professions—medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant, public health—should contact the Center for Pre-Health Advising.

Students interested in undergraduate programs in medical imaging sciences (sonography or radiologic technology) should contact the UW Hospitals and Clinics directly about their programs, which are offered in conjunction with UW–Milwaukee.
