Degrees granted: M.A. in Educational Policy Studies and Ph.D. with a major in Educational Policy Studies.

The department offers many elective courses for undergraduate students within and outside the School of Education. Multidisciplinary courses in the history, sociology, and philosophy of education, comparative and international education, urban education and in educational anthropology are available to all students. Courses in policy analysis emphasize social context and policy implications.

Although an undergraduate degree in Educational Policy Studies is not currently offered, the Educational Policy Studies certificate program is available to all undergraduate students. The completion of the EPS certificate formalizes a student's interest in the multiple dimensions of this discipline.
