Degrees granted: M.S. in Counseling and Ph.D. with a major in Counseling Psychology.

The department does not offer an undergraduate degree, but it does offer a wide range of courses related to educational effectiveness. Topics may focus on study skills, transitioning from high school to college, general wellness, and others. The department also offers undergraduate level courses related to the field of counseling psychology, including courses in developing general interviewing skills, various topics for educators and an introduction to the profession.
