Education Course Work: Communicative Disorders

Development (minimum 3 credits). Select one:

Learning (minimum 3 credits). Ed Psych 301 Human Abilities and Learning, 3

Educational Policy Studies (minimum 3 credits). Ed Pol 300 School and Society, 3

Literacy, including Reading. Curric 305 Integrating the Teaching of Reading with Other Language Arts, 3. (This course meets Communication Part B of the General Education requirements.)

Additional Education Course Work, 3. Select 3 credits in School of Education electives. These may be taken from any of the departments in the School of Education. Required School of Education courses may not be applied toward this requirement.

Com Dis 390 Practicum in Communicative Disorders, 2 (listed also in the Major Requirements), is no longer required as of May, 2007. Students may choose this course as an elective.
